In the United States, particularly in Washington State, wait times have dramatically increased and time spent face to face with a provider has significantly decreased. According to a study published in Health Services Research, the average visit with a family doctor lasts less than 16 minutes. At HHC we often double or triple the time spent, ensuring each patient receives the comprehensive care they deserve.
This extended visit time allows us to:

- Educate you on prevention strategies.
- Uncover and address the root cause of health concerns to facilitate disease resolution rather than just disease management.
- Implement diet and lifestyle modification strategies.

Concierge at HHC
The naturopathic doctors at Holistic Health Clinic have an expanded vision of what healthcare should be:
- Prevention is much more than annual doctor visits, screening tests and vaccines.
- Assessments should reveal if you are trending towards chronic disease and offer strategies to reverse those trends years before they manifest in life-limiting symptoms.
- The time you spend with your provider should be ample enough to address you as a whole person.
This vision includes naturopathic strategies that insurance companies classify as “non-billable services”, yet we believe are fundamental to your health. These tailored interventions extend beyond conventional care, addressing the root causes of health concerns and fostering long-term wellness.
The concierge model provides the best of both worlds—offering a personalized, direct connection with your doctor while still allowing you to use insurance for covered services. This ensures continued access to high-quality, whole person healthcare.
Concierge Includes Non-Billable Services
The common perception is that because health insurance is so expensive, it covers all of your medical needs. Unfortunately, this couldn’t be further from the truth. Insurance companies do not cover some of the work your naturopathic doctor provides as a part of your visit. Insurance refers to this work as “non-billable services.”
Any discussion of lifestyle modification, diet therapy, or guidance with the use of natural medicines are not routinely covered by insurance companies. Certain types of communication between doctor and patient outside of a visit, despite being valuable, are also not covered under many plans. While insurance won’t pay your doctor for this work, we believe that the extra attention is vital to help you to achieve optimum health. That’s what you pay for when you sign up for our Concierge Access Plans at Holistic Health Clinic.
Concierge Benefits
We offer 3 Concierge Access Plans
Premium Access
Premium Access at HHC delivers exceptional care tailored to our patients’ needs, including 45 minute visits, a team of doctors collaborating on your treatment, and dedicated staff to navigate insurance matters on your behalf. This plan offers the most comprehensive benefits, including access to exclusive Premium-only providers, extensive portal and phone communication, and priority scheduling within 48 hours when necessary. Premium Access patients enjoy added perks such as free shipping on supplement orders of $50 or more, quarterly body composition measurements, and monthly vitamin B injections at no additional cost. Additionally, cancellation fees are waived twice per year, and patients receive free or discounted special offers, making Premium Access the optimal choice for comprehensive, high-quality care.
Enhanced Access
Enhanced Access offers a cost-effective alternative for patients who want the high-quality care HHC is known for but do not require the full benefits of Premium Access. This plan provides you with limited portal and phone access, allowing you to get in touch with your provider about previously discussed concerns. Unlike with Premium Access, not all providers will be available to you, and there is no priority scheduling. Enhanced Access patients receive added perks, including a complimentary body composition measurement and vitamin B injection twice per year. Enhanced Access ensures continued support and care while maintaining affordability for those seeking a balanced option.
Pay as You Go
With the Pay As You Go option, patients who do not enroll in either Premium or Enhance Access can still receive the same high-quality care. This option includes provider portal and phone access for up to two weeks following each visit, ensuring support in addressing any unexpected issues related to the current treatment plan.
Self-pay patients will continue to pay the standard visit rate and will automatically be enrolled in the Pay As You Go plan, ensuring they receive high-quality care with limited follow-up access. For those seeking additional benefits or wishing to see a provider who only accepts a specific Access Plan, an upgrade option is available.

Concierge Pricing
The cost of participating in Premium and Enhanced Access is set on an annual basis and is payable monthly, due on the first day of each month. The fees are described below for each plan. Holistic Health Clinic will notify you at least 60 days prior to any changes in the Plan Fees. Patients can pause or cancel their Access Plan at any time.
